Guiding Principles
Bolton Associates, Inc. started out over twenty years ago when Joanne decided to leave Toppan Printing Company in San Francisco and work for a Korean printing broker. She really never looked back. Those two years at Toppan Printing Company set the stage for the years to come when she would go to Seoul as an independent printing broker by herself for press checks and find the printing plant full from top to bottom with her client's books and calendars. The bottom line in the history of Bolton Associates is that Joanne loves books, she loves producing books and her printers love working with her because of this passion. The passion comes out as soon as you start to talk to her on the phone. Set aside plenty of time...she has a lot to ask and a lot to talk about. No matter what, you will come away knowing much more than you did before about book production.
Once you get to know Joanne, it is easy to entrust her with your printing project whether it is done locally or in Hong Kong or Korea. It really is her personal integrity and love of quality that keeps her in business in such a competitive field. If she doesn't know the answer, she will find it out, and when it comes to quality she will be the one to please. After twenty years of producing high quality books and calendars she has a thing or two to say about book production, and printing quality.
